Message Thanks for the post. To answer your questions...

I too have a high regard for Autoweek's classifieds, and have even recently received a call from that ad even 5 months after it was last published! I guess I expected the winter time of year wouldn't keep the serious away, but I never did receive any cash offers. I am considering trying again for a month, since the weather is nice again.

In terms of the market, my price is fair. Take one look or one whiff in person, and you've stepped into a time machine back to 1995 lookin' at a new SMZ in a show room. Check out my post from December 6th last year. A mint 1996 TT with 11,000 original miles (not an SMZ) just sold for $34,500. This continues to prove what the market sDBD::ODBC::db prepare failed: (DBD: st_prepare/SQLAllocStmt err=-2) at incl_db.pm line 314.
upports: Low mileage pristine Zs are grabbing top dollar due to increasingly rare existance -- probably due to everyone crashing them.

Of the cars you posted, I have a few thoughts/personal experiences to share. It was a 1988 Carrera 4(owned by a close personal friend) that blew it's engine, to the tune of $16,000 repair bill, while trying to keep up with my 1994 stock TT. And the '91/'92 NSXs are very undesireable due to the owners' class action lawsuit against Acura for the faulty suspension/tire wear.

I've said it before, but you cannot find a faster, better handling, more comfortable, more reliable, rock solid, rare, collectable, sports car anywhere for this price. I've been on the racetrack where not one Lotus (turbo or V8) could keep up, and a '97 Porsche Turbo had to give me a "point by" when I reeled him in.

I will admit that it will be a special buyer who ends up with this car. Until then, I am forced to enjoying ownership. Wooos me! :-)
